Biography
Simon Armitage was born in Marsden, UK, and lives in West Yorkshire. In addition to publishing ten books of poetry, he is the author of two novels, four stage plays, and two memoirs, and he regularly writes for radio, television, and film. He is the lead singer in a band called The Scaremongers.
